Swan Ride at the Texas State Fair

Madeline steered the boat the whole time and didn't run into anything! There must be sailing in her blood!

Trip to Dallas

Maddy and Grace went to visit Grandpa at the hospital in Dallas this last Sunday.

Even when he's sick, Grandpa has the energy to goof around with the girls.

It was good to see Grandma and Grandpa Fuhrken. The girls are already asking when they can visit again.

She was a bit unsure about cutting 'Max' but her love for cake got rid of any inhibitions.

'Resurrection Day' 2008

The girls enjoyed the pagan ritual of coloring and finding Easter eggs on Resurrection Day.

Mexico Olympics 2008

The whole family participated in the Mexico Olympics this year to raise money for the mission trip by competing, judging or spectating.

As you can see, Lee is very proud of his silver medal in the Saw-a-rama competition.

Gracie is showcasing Papa's bronze medal in the "If I had a Hammer" competition. You can't see the medal in this picture, but Grace is the one we all want to see anyway, right?

Maddy was upset that she couldn't be in the competition but she got to try out her skills later. Sign her up for the 2018 Amor mission trip, Josh!

Groovin' Grace (Video)

Nana and Papa took Maddy out for the afternoon so Gracie had us to herself. I think she really enjoyed being the only child for a while. As you can see she was quite giddy! Whoa Girl!

Maddy's "Baby" (Video)

Madeline calls Peter, "My baby", and loves to entertain him. I caught the end of their game but it started out with Maddy showing Peter a book, when he grabbed it she pulled back and it smacked her in the face. Peter thought it was hilarious so Maddy turned it into a game.
