Zoo Day

I don't know why I did it but I did...
I swore I would never take the girls to the zoo by myself again since our past zoo outings have been disasterous. I think I felt bad that we haven't visited all summer and the fall is already here. All went well in the end, I think the key is to avoid the playground area...they get CRAZY!

Maddy's Birthday Playdate

Madeline LOVES 'bouncy slides' so we took her, Grace, and best friend Gabby to Kid Barn the Saturday before her birthday. They were running from slide to slide so fast that I couldn't keep up and most of my pictures are of a slide with a blur of child.

Gracie wanted to jump over every rock she came to so it took us a while to get to the falls. We lost Maddy and Gabby at the trailhead. Thank goodness Josh and Natalie were around to keep up with them.

Cornerstone Family Camp 2008

Sandy had the kids do a pirate craft to make their own pirate hats, complete with tattoos and a treasure hunt.
Grace fell down right before craft time so her hand still hurt and this look never really left her face until they found the treasure.
Argh, matey. Me thinks Maddy is making a pirate face a little too well.
