Gracie's First Day of Preschool
Family Camp 2009
The annual Labor Day weekend camping event with our Cornerstone family at the Spruces was a lot of fun this year (minus a couple of scary moments). The weather was beautiful (no rain!) and the company was enjoyable.
Madeline buried by Uncle Andrew. Good thing this was our last night because she got DIRTY!
Beautiful day for a hike around Silver Lake.
(Lee, Josh, Karen, Arleth, Bolera, Roberto, Maddy, and Grace)

Our scary moments happened on Sunday morning. First, Brayden (Tera and Mario's boy) fell and hit his head on a rock which sent him to the ER for stitches. Two hours later Grace fell and her hair clip went right through her forehead! (Hairclips are now banned in the Fuhrken household). We took her to an InstaCare (thank God for people who work on holiday Sundays) and they ended up gluing her back together. We thought she was crying all the way down the canyon because she was hurting but it ended up being that she didn't want to get a shot for stitches. So, thankfully it didn't come to that. We were back to camp by mid-afternoon ready for a hike around Silver Lake.
