Playing in the Leaves

Yes, the chicken-dog is afraid of the leaves and has to sit on Lee to 'survive'.

We never did pick up the leaves. We just raked them into a pile, jumped around in them, then left it for another day. The following week it snowed... Spring cleaning is going to be fun.

Disney Princesses on Ice

We surprised Maddy and Grace this last Saturday with a ride on TRAX to downtown and a showing of Disney's Princesses on Ice.

Then God surprised us by arranging to have Maddy's best friend, Gabby, show up at the same show in the seats right next to us! How amazing is that!?

Backyard Boo at Thanksgiving Point

We waited in line for an hour for a 2 minute pony ride! They wanted to do it again so it must have been worth it.




Grace said her favorite part of the day was the wagon ride...she just doesn't look like it here.

Tea Party with the Princesses

Grace LOVES picnic tea parties. It was so beautiful on Thursday that we had to go out and enjoy one last party before it gets too cold.



Gracie's latest favorite movie is Snow White. She asked how Snow White gets the birds to sit on her finger. Madeline told her that the other day she stood very still by the apple tree and pretended to be another apple tree and a hummingbird sat on her finger. So Grace had to go stand by the apple tree and pretend to be a tree, hoping a bird would land on her finger.
