Long story short, our truck broke in Midway over the weekend so we had to drive back on Monday to pick it up. We thought we'd let the girls try out fishing in a little pond nearby. It was the middle of the day and we have a history of never catching fish so, of course, we did not catch fish. The girls seemed disappointed until they were too hungry and thirsty to care.
Lee and Maddy ended up on the other side of the pond to avoid our lines crossing. (Yes, Lee and I were casting.) We are the wrong people to teach them about fishing, that's for sure!
